"Woman In Mind" focuses on Susan, a middle-aged bored housewife whose marriage to her vicar husband, Gerald has become tedious in the extremeand severely lacking in tenderness. As a result of all this, coupled with some slight concussion from a knock on the head from the garden rake upon which Susan stepped, her tedious and bored life becomes interwined with a fantasy family. The audience can see the fantasy family but the 'real' family cannot whioch leads to some quite hysterical farce situations, but being Ayckbourn, there is also a slightly darker side withwith audiences can both sympathise and indeed even empathise with some of the characters. A "must see" play, not often performed by am dram theatre but to which Little Bridge will bring all its challenging talents.
