Funny Money by Ray Cooney is an hilarious throwback farce about mistaken identity from the 'master of comedy', and is Theatrecraft's entry into the Kent Drama Association's 2010 Full Length Play Festival.

Hilarious innuendo and cruelly funny turns of fate ensue as two couples assume various identities in their battle to keep £735,000 - which was accidentally picked up on the Underground.

This classical piece of British fun has a plot involving vast sums of money which go missing, tipsy wives, suspicious huddlings beneath blankets, a man called Mr. Brerfcurse, bolshy Cockney cab drivers and trips to Barcelona. Add this to exaggerated characters, cheese and chutney sandwiches, telephone confusion and feverish searches for 'pussy' and you are guaranteed to be rolling in the aisles.
