Description
Tenterden Operatic & Dramatic Society (TODS) will be performing “The Beauty Queen of Leenane” by Martin Mc Donagh at Tenterden Town Hall on 22/23/24 April at 7.30p.m.
A darkly comic play directed by Heather Leslie has been entered for the Kent Drama Festival and will be adjudicated on Friday 23rd by Arthur Rochester GODA.
Tickets are available from Travelux of Tenterden or on line at www.tods.me.uk from 27th March.
DescriptionSet in a village in Co. Galway, this is a darkly comic tale of a plain, lonely woman in her 40’s and her ageing, manipulative mother whose interference in her daughter’s life sets in motion a train of events that leads towards the play’s terrifying denouement.
